We live in a world filled with different beliefs. Religions, Traditions, Scientific knowledge and real world experiences create our beliefs. Our believes and thoughts are what makes us. It is essentially what we are. Our efforts and acts are just a reflection of those beliefs. According to Clement Stone
"We are the product of our environment"
Strangely though we think very little about the lustiness of our beliefs. It is usually discounted as a subjective choice or opinion. However, most of what we believe, value or want has already been ingrained into our minds by countless experiences and choices. It is necessary to rectify our belief system? Should we continue to trust our consciousness or continue swimming in the endless stream of desires and goals?
As I believe in Scientific methodology rather than subjective beliefs and trusts, I don't agree with divine inspiration of goals. Even if that were true our subjective experiences and diverse aptitudes makes it impossible to do so.
In my next post I will hopefully try to delve into the topic of expanding one's thought horizons and finding that ultimate goal in life.
